When using a Shampoo Bar it might be necessary to use an acid rinse. This is because the alkaline level of your hair is raised causing the shaft of your hair to stick out which causes tangles and the feeling that your hair is sticky together. An acidic rinse will help close the hair cuticle and help prevent tangling. You can use vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid. If you do not like the smell of vinegar my hair rinse is for you. It is in concentrated powdered form, great for use at home or traveling.
To use: Put 1/2 teaspoon into a cup and add about 8 oz of water. Pour over hair. You can leave in or rinse out. For really long hair use twice the amount of rinse AND water. Please keep the jar out of the shower and keep the top on.
Size:
One (1) 2.5 oz. glass jar, contains enough for over 30 rinses.
Citric Acid: This might sound scary, but citric acid is used in many food products. It works to smooth the shaft of the hair down.
Horsetail and Marshmallow: Both are added to help with tangles and add shine.
Silk Peptide: Adds a silky feel.
Essential Oils of Rosemary and Lavender: This combo not only smells good it is also good for your hair.
